This class is really for athletes of all kinds, but is particularly effective for cyclists. It's a full-length class that is best done at least a couple times a week if you want to see results. David targets the key muscles that are in high demand when riding your bike and also spends time releasing those that become tight because of the posture you need to maintain for so many hours on your bike. Note: You will need access to a wall.

After a 20 mile ride, I didn't want to work hard again, I just wanted to stretch to avoid tomorrow's soreness. This was perfect; calm, slow, deep... aaaaah!

great class it really helped loosening my thighs and calves which are tight form hiking and cycling. Though I could'nt stand on my knees 40 min. in the video. that was too painful for the knee on the mat. So I quit and came back for the relaxing stretches at the end. My knees are old. I feel great overall. Any idea what other strecht I could do to spare my knees?
Thank you! Namaste

Hi Francine,

Yes! Have you tried adding a blanket or some cushioning under the knee that is on the ground? Another option is hooking the back toes under and bringing the knee off the ground turning the base into crecent lunge.

What a great class. I'm an avid cyclist and this hits the spot! During these winter months you could also call it "Yoga for Skate Skiers" :-) -- seems to hit a lot of the same tight muscle groups!

Loved this class - thank you! Did your Deep Release for Hips, Hamstrings and Lower Back last week and this one today - will be doing more of your classes for my poor runner's/cyclist's legs! Just what I needed.
