Yoga for Anxiety
Anxiety can be a difficult emotion to let go of. It requires a lot of self-reflection, opening up to vulnerability, an understanding of what anxiety feels like in your body and how to move it through. David spent many years plagued with anxiety and this class brings together everything he has learned through pranayama, meditation, movement and yoga that has helped him move through it. It seems my life revolves around (what seem to be) unending bouts of crippling anxiety. I've never thought of it as a blockage or stagnation especially of emotions. Found myself incredibly moved by the class and grateful for a new understanding of how my mind and body hold tension and how I can start to release these feelings of worry, fear and shame. Look forward to experiencing more of your classes.
