Anxiety can be a difficult emotion to let go of. It requires a lot of self-reflection, opening up to vulnerability, an understanding of what anxiety feels like in your body and how to move it through. David spent many years plagued with anxiety and this class brings together everything he has learned through pranayama, meditation, movement and yoga that has helped him move through it. This is so beautiful David. I have experienced anxiety and depression for a very long while, throughout most of my life. The past two years have been exceptionally difficult, and I have multiple professionals supporting me and working with me to heal. After doing your yoga class, I feel more peaceful and grounded than I have in over a year. A quite a bit loopy, I might add!!! I so appreciate the care and compassion that you exude in this practice. I will share this with me teen sons! Thank you!

This was a very beautiful practice for me, a lot of emotion moved through me and I was able to let go of anxiety and negative emotions. Thank you so much.
I think this class is also good for when one is recovering from an illness and not feeling quite up to physical challenge, and also as preparation for meditation. Thank you!

Thank you for this challenging, thoughtful, heartfelt class. I've been struggling with some sticky feelings and destructive thought patterns, and this class was the first thing in a long time that made me feel like I can open up and move forward. I still have a lot of mental blocks to sort out, but this class gave me a spark of hope and positive forward momentum, which is what I really needed. I can't thank you enough for all the love you put into this site and into all your practices.

Much gratitude for this video and for the kind and gentle words. I thought about switching to a different video because I wasn't sure if this is what I was looking for today. Of course it ended up being exactly what I needed. I too cried at the end. The breathing exercises were new to me and I found them really freeing.

Dear David, thank you very much for sharing this with us. When I "switched" on my Love button I started cry because was the sensation that I kept blocked in me and I didn't allow to burst. This was really helpful, I have more faith in my strength and I feel more forgiving towards my weaknesses. The image you gave of the body as a vehicle for sensations is perfect to understand and help things flow in and out, as we are channels of energy negative and positive that flow in an eternal balance.

Thank you for this class, David. It is a perfect match for after the holidays. I often combine David's classes. A favorite combination is Hatha Yoga for Hip and Hamstrings followed by Shoulders and Neck. It leaves an all over feeling of well being. I find an hour plus is my joy and completely centers me for whatever the day may bring. My Aussie Shepherd patiently waits then wants to be cuddled when I say Namaste! Today I am combining Yoga for Anxiety with Yoga for the Upper back. Namaste!
