Sarah-Jane begins with a yang flow, which is full of energy, movement and challenging poses, to warm and prepare the body for 30 minutes of yin. The heat generated during the first 20 minutes makes the yin poses - the deeper spinal bends and twists - feel so good you'll want to spend a lot more time in savasana.

Sarah's class was a perfect mix of twists and flexibility. I loved the gentle way she moved us into each posture. Thank you Sarah!

Beautiful practice!
My spine feels subtle and mobile and a bit sore now, but I have the impression facia really got out of the sticky state and that new lines of energy are forming. So thank you for this intense stretch …for me especially in the upper back and neck area.

I enjoyed this class. I read some of the previous comments prior to doing the class and I would like to comment that options were offered for Bird of Paradise. I stayed in bound angle because the more challenging pose was not for my body today. With respect to talking during the yin poses, I thought the comments were well timed and helped bring back my focus and deepen the pose. My practice definitely benefited from them.
