Thank you for posting the poem and replying to my email. I really enjoy your classes and the comments and breathing guidance you provide. Your classes are paced well for me, especially since I am a vata dosha and need to slow down and consciously coordinate breathing with movement to quiet the nervous system. Thank you and keep making videos!

Many of you have asked about the poem I read at the end. Here is it:

My beloved child,
break your heart no longer.
Each time you judge yourself
you break your own heart.

You stop feeding on the love,
which is the wellspring of your vitality.
The time has come, your time
To live to celebrate...
and to see the goodness that you are…

Let no one, no thing, no idea or ideal obstruct you
If one comes, even in the name of “Truth”,
forgive it for its unknowing

Do not fight
Let go
And breathe – into the goodness that you are.

Hi Anastasia, just a quick question. What is the name of the poem and poet that you read at the end of the class? I love it and want to copy and reference it. The name sounded like Bapuci (???) but I know that is not how it is spelled. Also, since I was asking about names, what is the origin of your last name? It is quite unusual and I have never heard it before.

Thanks, Kris

Thanks for asking Kris! I have posted the poem in a new comment in hopes more people will see it. My last name as an interesting origin. My family is Greek and my ancestor's last name was Manolis. My great-great-popouli (grandfather) was baptized in the River Jordan and so was able to take on the title 'Haj', so the family name became Haji Manolis. When my Popouli emigrated through Ellis Island in 2011, the immigration people did not understand his name and changed it to Hangemanole.
