Nectar for the hips. I keep coming to this class over and over again. Thank you Rachel.

Yes, I found that tiny little thing (called love) in my left hip!
The longer stretches in the pigeon got right into the heart of it

I injured my right knee during this class a number of weeks ago, I think I pushed too much and my hips weren't that opened. I am also a keen runner, which didn't help with the recovery of the knee. I wonder what sort of exercises you would recommend to support healing. My right knee is now quite stiff.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. For knee pain, I generally suggest seeing a physio. For knee stiffness, then non-weight bearing mobility work in flexion and extension may be helpful in creating circulation through the joint (like a no-load stationary bike), rather than the impact of running. However, I'm not a physio and I do recommend connecting with someone who can see you in person and give you a more personalized reply. I'm so sorry that you're having this experience; it's a good moment to remind everyone out there that Yin yoga does target the hips, and if you feel anything in your knee, it's a signal to modify the pose so that the knee doesn't take the "stretch" or force rather than our target area of the hips. I wish you a very speedy recovery!!
