Wring out the old and wring in the new in this class that is all about twists! Fiji will help you work up a sweat in this intermediate/advanced vinyasa flow that also incorporates a few fun arm balances.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 30 of the Daily Dose 30-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

How I love 💗 this challenge and the teachers! I practice every second day and look forward to it! Thank you, Fiji!
A wonderful class as always! Thanks Fiji!
What a nice way to end this 30-day challenge. Intense and gentle. Phew!
Steady pacing and calm cueing through this whole practice. My stiff, tired body (after a mtn. bike ride today) definitely appreciated the twists.
Thank you.
Thank you for a beautiful, challenging class! A fantastic start to my day :) You are so talented and creative- thank you for all that you do!
twisted crow is one of my faves. love how you build up to this peak pose:)
You take a twist practice to another level with your wise words. I will look for what I can let go of, what has already served me but is no longer needed. Namaste, Fiji.
Perfect level for me. Thanks so much for a wonderful class!
Fiji: I really value your guidance. I seek out your classes and invariably enjoy making the effort to rise to the challenges you present. I have one request, though: Those of us who have had a low-back issue are usually advised against deep forward folds. Would you consider building an alternative into your classes? Again, I love your work and am grateful for it.
Hi David,
Thank you for your kind words. Yes this is a great point, I will explore some options that might work and still keep you in the flow of the practice. One option that jumps to mind is sinking into chair pose, this also lets you get your hands on the ground easily to step back. Another option is to do ardha uttanasana or half way lift, this can be done with bent knees too and puts the spine in flexsion rather than rounding.
Those are exactly the alternatives I've been using, thanks for validating! So far I haven't blown out my back, at least. Thanks for the reply and all you do!
What a wonderful practice. Thank you Fiji!
Amazing class. I have definitely let go of something here and feel lightened and fresh. Headache I woke up with is gone! Thank you Fiji:)
Loved this class! I was not sure with all the twists, but it became the more the better. Loved Fiji's voice, words of wisdom and pace. Thank you.
Wow, this is intense on the legs , especally during the first half. Get ready to feel the burn, yogis!
Great workout - thanks Fiji!
Great class and sequence. Thank-you.
Oh wow - as good as all the comments say it was. Thank you Fiji :)
Thank you so much. I really feel so much lighter, yet stronger.
I needed this energy shifter this morning! Thank you so much Fiji!
Love your short hair cut!!
Love all of the twists! My tight hips really loosened up and I enjoyed this one a lot. Thanks Fiji!
Such a great class and a great way to start my day! Thank you!
Wonderful yogic medicine - esp. in times like these...!
Fiji guides us through a twisty practice that will make you feel AMAZING once done. Her words and movement flow perfectly through the practice. This is a bit challenging however she provides modifications. This is one worth coming back to time and time again.
Yowza! If you are a human, you need this.
I have been experiencing alot of stress and anxiety lately. This class helped me to really wring it out! It truly hit the spot for me. Thank you Fiji for a great class and reminder to wring in and out. Love your hair! Namaste
Lovely new class Fiji thank you. And yes, love your new hair too.
Very effective, fun, and relaxing but also revitalizing. I'm getting better at side crow so I appreciate more opportunities to play in it!
Fun and challenging. Twists are so refreshing to the body.
Great way to wring in the new year! Thank you-
Real Fiji like! Slower but still hard on the muscles haha! I liked it. Still find the twists the very hardest part of yoga though... Any other tips? For example after quite some years of practice I still don't manage to keep my knees together while twisting from chair pose.
I am happy to hear that you like this new practice! I agree twists are energizing! Everyone has components withing their practice that come fairly easy, and that are more difficult. Simply being aware of the movement in the knee, which actually comes from the hip shifting back and up, is a step toward decreasing the rotation. Doing the best you can to turn your shoulders idependently of the hips is making for a potent twist.
This was a great practice with some beautiful twists. Great transitions between postures. Thanks Fiji!
Great class, and love the new hair Fiji! All those twists felt goood. I haven't been able to do side crow since breaking my collarbone last year but can do crow pose, hooray! Thank you for a great start to 2020 (doing this as Day 7 of New Year's 30 day challenge :-))
Wow! Such a beautiful class!! On day 7 of the New Years Challenge, I was looking forward to a new Fiji’s class, and this one is perfect.
Fire-y in spots (specifically my quads, ha!!) but I appreciate the opportunity to notice where my mind goes when sensations become intense. Nice overall wringing out of the body -thanks!
Such a wonderful class! Thank you Fiji! After taking your classes for a few years now, I felt such delight in seeing your new look- as if I was celebrating a change in a friend- it suits you very well! :)
Ahhh I love twists! I enjoyed the feeling that you gave time to expand into the twists, not rushing. This was nice for a day when I want to move a little slower and go a bit deeper and relax into the postures. So happy to have some new practices from you - thank you!
Loved this class. Challenging but still fun. Although I have been trying for years, this is the closest I have come to crow and side crow. Thanks for another great class Fiji (and I too think the new hair looks great!).
Thank you, Fiji! Love the new hair!
loved this! the perfect way to get back into my practice after a break over the holidays. also: the new hair looks great, fiji!
