Wow! I was so much into listening to my breath and feeling my body that the 50 minutes flew by. This practice is what my body needed to release stress, my spirit to trust and my mind to remain calm. Thank you!!!

I loved this session and found it really challenging. Fiji's instruction was patient and on point.

My quads and hamstrings were on fire at points during this session and I needed to stop to shake them out sometimes. So I can get a sense for whether I'm working the poses correctly, does anyone else who has done this think that that was the intent? Regardless, very happy with the class as it was challenging and most certainly got my heart-rate up.

Yes, I also found this pretty intense at times - definitely felt shaking and heat in my quads and hips. The subject line of my comment after doing the practice was "Call the fire department!" :-)
Personally, I find it easier to "tune into" myself during less intense classes. Perhaps the goal is to be able to learn to tune into myself when things get physically uncomfortable/intense and when my mind gets distracted w/ thoughts (or prayers for the pose to end! lol)

I am happy that you enjoyed the class and the challenge. This one was created for those yogis out there who have a fairly high yoga stamina. While the level was set with that group in mind, the message really is to tune into you, and take each moment and pose as they come. I find that for many of us we are over working in a pose, which may contribute to that burn you encountered. A great question when you get into a pose is where can I soften, what effort is skillful and essential and what effort is not necessary?

Along my whole yoga experience as an "online videos" student and here and there in some yoga rooms, THIS 50 minutes Vinyasa/power yoga practice class video is by far, one of my best!!! Thanks Fiji and continue your good work!
