What a wonderful surprise! I generally steer class of Fiji's classes, finding them too rushed for my liking. This one was perfect for me. Perfect pace, excellent cueing. I will have to try some more of Fiji's classes - maybe I just wasn't ready before :)

I am happy that you gave it a try! Our practice changes and shifts constantly and before we know it we are capable of doing things that at one time seemed impossible. It is good to check in and challenge yourself every so often. I also do have quite a variety of classes, some faster pace than others. The new classes I am releasing this month will be at a pace you will appreciate.

How fascinating! You find Fiji rushes!? I normally steer away from her classes because I find them too slow: too much talking and time spent in each pose; I usually go to Tracey Noseworthy as I love her pace and dialogue. But I appreciate all of Fiji’s wisdom and insight and it’s always a challenge to my mind to take her class without getting frustrated and listening to her words and holding the poses.
Anyways, just so interesting how different people and their views are! I really enjoyed reading your comment.

Thanks Fiji for an intriguing new peak pose that will allude me for awhile I am certain. This was a fantastic hip opener for me and desperately needed after some longer, hilly runs. The sequences were structured so thoughtfully that often my body felt it's way into the next transition before you qued it. I think this speaks to how well you listened to your own body as you built this flow. Since I know you are working on your own awareness, I say congrats your focus and dedication is paying off. Delightful and challenging intermediate yoga session. LOVED IT.

I am happy that you found some space in your hips from this class, being a runner myself I find daily hip openers very helpful! I have learned so much in my advanced training this year, it is starting to come through in my most recent classes, so I appreciate you noticing and the feedback!

Thank you, Fij, for this creative and delicious class - I love the way you dedicate the physical practice to other dimensions of being - as every layer really is connected. This practice supported me inhabiting my body right out to my very skin - and finding joy in the process - thank you :-)
