A Stretch Class for Beginners I
This beginners yoga class is great for people who are just starting out with yoga, seniors, or anyone who is looking for a gentle stretch class. It moves through a series of poses that stretch mainly the upper body - the spine, shoulders, neck and back.

When I went to try this a couple years ago I was disheartened because I had a strap but I did not have a regular chair! I finally got a chair and did this for the first time today. I loved it, though I have terrible grip and upper body strength. If I did not have a strap that had the ability to belt I would not have pulled enough to get the stretch I needed. It really shows how everyone is in their own unique place and journey though.
This may be week one, workout one - but I'll definitely be doing this one again. I really needed these gently stretches. It's been a while since I've done any kind of stretching. Thanks!
I've been a beginner at yoga for many years, always coming back to it when life gets rough. This time I hope to establish a regular practice and perhaps progress out of the beginner state. This site seems to be the perfect place to allow me to do that! Thank you David and everyone for this wonderful site. After this month's money crunch, I will become a subscriber.
