It takes courage to truly let our guard down, to release deeply held tension and patterns of meeting resistance. This practice with Fiji will flow through the ebb and flow of yin and yang energy. We will learn where and when to engage and how to fully release the body. To establish balance within, we need to bring balance to our practice.

Hoping I can ask two questions-
1.) Is the idea in this class that when we were doing more slow flows that there is yin energy in the surrender and yang energy in the places of effort?
2.) Is Hatha yoga a great example of these two energies dancing?

I love this! My whole body feels balanced and relaxed after lots of sitting, walking and snow shoveling. I have to remember this and find my way back regularly. ♥️

I love your classes and always find them strengthening and calming. But I hope you don’t mind my saying that sometimes I feel there is too much commentary. I find it difficult to sink into my practice with so much continuous description of what we are doing and sometimes it would be nice to have more silence.
Having said that you are a wonderful teacher and thank you for all your classes.
