Our ability to articulate our hips is in part dependent on our ability to release hip flexors. This class with Ron will start seated on a chair, where we can first feel a softening of the hips. Standing postures will further explore articulation and ease of working with the hips. Note: A chair or bolster is optional for this practice.

This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 6 of Total Body Flexibility And Health 14-Day Yoga Challenge For Men.

A really interesting practice with the chair. Ron in the sand. LOL. But I liked it.
This is a wonderful practice for the hip flexors. Ron is fun to do yoga with. Great sense of humor.

Nice job accommodating varying degrees of mobility for most of the stretches. Most of it worked well for me. However, two poses had me wondering what to do. A physiotherapist recently warned me not to attempt bow pose because of my limited back mobility, so I did locust when you called for bow. Earlier in the class, while in lunge, I realized that grasping my back leg was also beyond a safe stretch for me, but I didn't know what to do in its place. I'd appreciate your suggestions, please.

Hi PianoWire
Grasping the back leg while in the lunge is this odd thing I enjoy doing because it feels peculiar, orienting and feeling our leg in an unusual place, so its really not vital, I would just reach my arms behind me, feel the opening across the chest, be tall through your spine, breathe.

Another great class, Ron! Moving pigeon pose really woke up my covid-sitting hips. Thank you,
