This slow-paced, stretchy flow class with Jonni-Lyn is the perfect way to connect with your breath and tune in to your body. With lots of rolling movements, a focus on hip-opening and seated postures, this class will have you slow down and loosen up. It begins with the Guru mantra, chanting to the “Guru” which is the remover of darkness. The second chant is done with the classical sun salutations and was traditionally done with each movement to give thanks to the sun for rising each day and shining on us all.

Extremely gratifying and feel-good integral hatha flow class, which is very well-rounded, as it includes breath consciousness, mantra chanting at the beginning and end, lots of stretching and slow movement, and a short meditation. It starts and ends with a number of floor-based postures, and has a slow sun salutation section in the middle. I really love the way Jonni-Lyn transmits a sense of spiritual reverence throughout the class.
Jonni-Lyn, thank you! It was fun to do a slower paced class with you and to notice the spaciousness within it. Just right for this overcast morning.
Lovely class and very much what I needed today. That said there were a couple of spots where we did twists on the right and not on the left. I was able to pause the video and add it in myself, but a heads up to anyone doing it. Also, not sure I would call this an intermediate class, certainly not intermediate II. This was very slow and without a lot of challenging poses, maybe more of a beginner III class.
Not sure if I would grade this class as level 11 intermediate...probably easier than that but very restful
