Ron uses beautiful imagery - and a colorful ball - to guide you through this wonderfully challenging flow that focuses on expansion. His teaching style is like no other, full of fantastic analogies and a flow that often feels more like dance than yoga.

Very nice class! I loved the analogies. The video was a little glitchy in the beginning and in the middle but it resolved quickly. It was a great full body practice!

What a great class, I am so glad I took it. I found it challenging but doable.

I am not sure what you (Ron) mean about the ball rolling up the front of your spine. Are you talking about imagining it inside your body?

I take "real life" classes with a number of talented female instructors, so as a man I appreciated having a male teacher. It is unusual for me and welcome. I will take this one again soon I am sure, really enjoyed the transitions and Ron's sense of humour. Thank you!

Hi JMacDee
I'm glad you liked the class!
Yes, the ball rolling up the spine is imagining (at first) the energy, with the opportunity at some time to be able to actually feel the energy rising.
Once there, see if you can drop the energy back down to the pelvis, via tongue to roof of the mouth, the energy pours down the front.

Thank you Ron,

I have enjoyed all your classes I have tried so far. Last evening was Neutral Spine, Playful Balance which I have taken 2-3 times. I appreciate how you often give us a range to work with. I also like how you laugh at yourself sometimes if you wobble. It shows us it is OK if we do the same. I think I'd find it hard to balance on a mat on sand!

Sorry to be so literal but do you mean we should envision the ball inside our bodies rolling up the front of the spine?
James

HI James
As you inhale, like a thermometer rising, imagine a ball floating up the spine. I feel it up the front of the spine. Energy flows where we place focus. For me the ball image also reminds me to be tall through the full length of my spine. Hope this helps!

Such good Yoga Medicine - always, and esp. in times like these where expansion, opening, breath, and heart-space are so important.
Feeling at ease, calm. and strong.
Thank you Ron, and DYWM.
Once again.
