Intermediate II

There's no better way to start your day! Fiji compacts everything into 35 minutes, making this class perfect for those who need something quick in the morning. This class is a great workout, with lots of challenging poses and deep openers. If you would like to do more with Fiji, try her 14-Day Yoga Challenge or her 7-Day Chakra Healing Series.

This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 17 of the Daily Dose 30-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

I love this class it makes me sweat outside and I feel a little workout. I'm a runner and cannot run last 6 months and going nuts ......
The orthopedic suggested before surgery to strengthen quad. Squats. Hamstrings. But do not do lunges nor lock the knee. This class hurts my knee a lot. But does wonders with empowerment for my mind. Please suggest.

I love this class, however I experience bad pressure pain on my knees in those poses where they touch the ground. Is that normal or should I use some support?

Hi yogalily. You can put a folded towel on your mat at the level where your knees go down, to provide some padding, as long as it doesn't get in the way of your practice.

I was so excited to do this video and when it reached 4 minutes, the video paused. I pressed play and it started over. This happened three times and then I gave up and did another yoga class. Hopefully the glitch will be resolved so I can do this class, it sounds like a great one!

Hi, there.

Sorry to hear that the video paused and you weren't able to start it again. There are two things you can do to avoid this. I know it may seem like the problem lies with that particular video, but if you use a different browser, it will often fix the problem right away. The other is to press play, then pause it for a few minutes so that it can load.

As a devoted "Beginner" for the past year, I thought I would up my game a little and try an Intermediate class. Wow! I tried this with the many modifications I have learned with the beginner videos and still had to stop half way and get a towel for the sweat pouring off me. Being able to complete this class as demonstrated will be a new goal for me. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this class. The postures are great for morning. The only complaint I would have is that it moves a little bit too fast. There are times when I could have benefited from holding a pose a bit longer.

thanks again Fiji, and all of you who make this possible. This was a great pose for balancing both sides of the body, IMO. I am a former teacher who had a traumatic emotional experience that left me beaten and subdued about 6 months ago, and so I am starting from a different place this year, and I just loved what this class has done for me today. since this event, i have noticed a terrible shortness in my right leg, but this was a great combination of length and strength to capitalize on my in-home therapy time. i will be back to my old self, so just as long as I can keep the yoga fire that burns inside me alive, and this certainly lit a fire in my heart. i will be doing this as a morning practice everyday this week! anyone can find their own power!! namaste yogis~

This was perfect. My toddler slept in and I quickly threw my mat down and started. Finished just as he woke happy and jabbering in his crib. And it is sunny outside. Feeling great. Thank you Fiji, I love your classes!
