Rise Again
Explore how to rise with courage and strength in this invigorating practice with Fiji that includes lots of standing and arm balances.
This class is Day 5 of Fiji's Calm in the Chaos program. Each class is very similar in style and movement, the intention and focus is what sets them apart as a progression.

Thank you again for offering this program. I'm enjoying these short, challenging and grounding classes during this challenging time. Your classes flow really nicely. May I ask, privately if preferred, where this fabulous building is located?
Thank you for including a bit more video of the building at the beginning. I know I bring the building up every day, but the setting is important for me. I appreciated “Sometimes things need to fall apart so they can be rebuilt in a better way.” I am adding it to my quotations collection and attributing it to Fiji McAlpine.
Some poses were difficult for me, but I’ve done yoga long enough that I know alternatives for the difficult poses. A beginner will need more instruction. However, these classes are labeled Intermediate, and I don’t feel the program was designed as an instructional beginner program. Adding beginner level Calm in the Chaos classes might be something DYWM can consider in the future. I sincerely hope this program will be expanded to include more levels. Chaos, in some degree, may be part of our lives for some time to come.
Thank you Fiji, I love the flow into poses like crane and crow (although I have a broken pinky right now so my birds are lame). I still do almost all of the poses, except head stand with a broken finger in a metal splint. I like the shorter classes right now as I can do 2 or more together if I have time or just do one because I've already exercised earlier. Your classes exude care and love.
Another lovely class, thank you Fiji
