In Sanskrit paschima is the backside of the body; namaskar means to join the hands in prayer. The Reverse Prayer Pose is a great pose for those with tight wrists and forearms. It stretches the flexors of the wrist. If you find it impossible to bring any more than the fingertips together, grab the wrists or the elbows from behind.
