I wish this class could continue on and on. So relaxing for every part of my body and especially my mind. I come back often and remember the relaxed feeling.
If you are, like me, someone who tenses up automatically when told to relax, don't be discouraged by the first 15 minutes of this – the active part that comes next is FANTASTIC. It has long been one of my go-tos whenever I have been too busy to practice (I know, I know) and feel all "twisted up" with cranky back muscles and hips. Since several attempts at the initial relaxation have all proven unfruitful, I usually just jump in at around 14', with or without some previous relaxation by methods better suited to my personal wiring :-).
Thank you for this class. I did this class a lot when I first started practicing yoga. Today I revisited it again because I'm recovering from a cranky back and a broke toe. This class is just what I needed. During the end of class meditation I could actually feel the healing energy going to my toe. Wow, I've never had that to happen before. You have helped me so much over the years. Thanks!

Thank you! I have arthritis and the pain was so severe I could not even lay on my back for the meditation. By the end of the class, not only could lay on my back, but I fell asleep during the meditation.
Thanks David. This was just what I needed in this beginner-to-inter. program after a day of cardio (snowshoeing). This program was very well thought out and so balanced - I am really enjoying it.

perfect class for me today...eliminated tightness in body and restored my sense of calm...David does a great job at fine tuning the poses in order to address all the muscles in the big joints (hips and shoulders) for a complete and deeply relaxed body

For a high-strung person like me, the long relaxations at the beginning and end are just the thing. David, you are so good at these gentle guided meditations. And my hips really love this session, too. I like it in the morning, to calm my nervous system and set the tone for the day. Thank you!
I am an intermediate/advanced yogi. Today I woke up stiff and sore from lack of practice over the holidays, so I wanted some gentle reintroduction. Laying on my back for 10 minutes without any warm-up was uncomfortable. I would skip most of that next time. Otherwise, good class.
Great for a day when I am quite stiff. Very gentle and relaxing. Glad it was a whole session on the mat.

This is a very gentle class, beginning with 15 minutes of relaxation. I made the mistake of doing this one in the morning and wanted to issue a fair warning: Unless you work the night shift or something, mornings are probably not the right time for this class. :)

This is a go-to class when I'm experiencing pain from my medical condition. I'm able to modify some of the poses and the relaxation sections at the beginning and ending take the edge off of my pain.
This class was exactly what I needed on this rainy day.
This class is great, even if you skip the first 14 minutes and the last 7 minutes. Wonderful leg stretches and hip openers.

Thank you for being such a wonderful yoga instructor. I woke up this morning with my side hurting so although I'm far from beginner-- tried this slow and gentle session and am almost pain free. I recommend doyogawithme to everyone and do at least one workout with you daily -- sometimes more. Planning to share some $$$ with you as soon as I have extra.

I have a lot of issues with osteoarthritis, lumbar, and sciatica. Despite this, I was able to complete this class...and I LOVED IT!!! My back and neck has been cranky for a few days but after doing this wonderfull set I feel light and balanced and the crankiness is gone! I absolutely love the sequence on the bolster with the feet in the air and the following hip stretch.
