Nice class with a Satiya's calming voice. Unfortunately, I continue to struggle with restorative yoga. After holding even a gentle stretch for more than 30 seconds or so, the intensity starts building to uncomfortable and beyond. It doesn't take long for my muscles to start contracting protectively instead of relaxing, and I need to come out of the pose to avoid injury. I wasn't able to hold any of the poses in this class for the recommended duration. Any advice on how to overcome this?
Delicious! I have low bone density and am doing a weight training program specifically designed for osteoporosis twice a week. I am also walking almost every day. So I am loving this gentle yoga. Namaste.
