An Mri and CT for other reasons showed four bulging discs and stenosis in my neck. But, I have no symptoms. Surgery was firmly suggested. Probably screws and rods. I declined as I have no symptoms. Reading I find interesting information that the discs have no blood suply to speak of and receive nutrition as a result of motion. Also that stenosis and spurs are thought to be the body's work to strengthen and protect the neck. Better alignment achieved with your yoga my cause the body to begin to remodel the vertebra as spurs and stenosis aren't needed. I like these ideas. And, your neck release yoga definitely realigns my neck. When its out there are BIG snapping noises on one side during initial rotation which disappear as the the lesson continues. Thank you David! Microsurgery may be a later issue. But, for now you are the maintenance of a no symptom life. It's been five years since surgery was recommended by the head of Spine and Neck at a big university hospital and I'm still without pain or symptoms.

Every now and then, I wake up with a monster crick in my neck. This class usually helps me relieve the pain.

This short video is a salvation to me as a migraine sufferer. It stretches the muscles that lock in my neck after a stressful day or in the morning to prepare for an eventful day. Thank you David for this excellent video. I've been using it for years.
