Never have been into yoga, but after my mom passed a few years ago I have been searching and searching for relief. After Nicky's class I had instant results. I just wanted to say that she is incredible at what she does. Thank you!

Hi Nicky...Thank you so much for this gift. I have a schedule that seems to never allow me to attend a yoga class. Found this site & just finished your session to release grief. Wow...I've been carrying a ton of grief for years. After trying many unsuccessful ways of releasing it....I think you showed me the way now.
Feeling extremely soft, relieved and hope that joy will come.

I am just getting back into yoga and this was my first video. It was wonderful! I am not going through any particular grief (more so anxiety) and I really felt comforted and soothed afterwards. The positions were beginner level and Nicky did an excellent job instructing us. Someone commented that the breathing in the beginning dragged on but I found it just right. It takes me awhile to get into the yoga mindset and allow myself to breath naturally. I also found that practicing yoga in the comfort of my own home works best for me. I'm so happy I found this website!! Thank you!

I haven't practiced in quite a while. I've had a particularly stressful week and this was just exactly what I needed. I thought initially that the breathing exercises ran a bit long, but ultimately I'm grateful as it helped with release. A great series of poses, good for beginners as well. I'll be looking for more videos from Nicky. Thank you!

I have used this particular practice before and found it extremely helpful at making my day more peaceful. I have returned to it following the passing of someone very dear to me. Again, it was just what I needed to continue my day confident and reassured. This truly is one of my favorite practices.

I enjoyed this class as an intermediate to beginner practitioner. Nicky provides options to make the poses more difficult or easier although she does not spend much time on technique (e.g., bend over with arms interlaced behind back while in a lunge pose). There were times that I became distracted by her giggling as I felt the need to look up at the screen to see what she was giggling about even though our eyes were supposed to be closed. I will be doing this again in the future.

Nicky is a wonderful teacher, so calm and gentle. I felt safe at once and the hours practice was a really special time. Emotionally it opens you up to connect and release with your grief feelings. I loved the physical flow of the postures too. I am looking forward to finding more video content with Nicky. A lovely class, thank you Nicky x

I found this practice to be very uplifting. Nicky is very sweet and coaxes you through each pose. I didn't expect to get emotional but actually teared up at the beginning without any forewarning. It felt great to get all the excess emotion out, even though I haven't been feeling a lot of grief lately. Thank you Nicky :)

I stumbled upon this site doing a google search. I'm so happy I found it. Then I was blessed enough for find Nicky's "Reclaim Your Joy" video. I practiced along with the video this morning and I felt, for the first time, the anxiety, pain, and grief my body was holding onto. It was during one of the positions (pigeon?) that I had a complete sob session! I wasn't even feeling "sad" though! It was like the flood gates opened and all my emotions came flowing out. I was able to release some of it only thanks to this video. Thank you!

I have been out of practice for a while, dealing with some major life changes and depression. I finally worked up the motivation to begin practicing again and this practice was exactly what I needed. The pace of the class was perfect for easing back into things. The focus on opening, meditation, and the breath was extremely helpful in coping with the feelings I have been struggling with and in turn led to an uplifting practice. After finishing this practice I feel lighter with a more positive outlook. Thank you Nicky!

This was something else.
i've been on a real yoga kick this week. doing every single of the classes i attend in real life in one week. My friend recommended this to me for the grief aspect and intuitively i felt like i needed to do this one tonight during this week of yoga maxing.
i am in the middle of intense but awesome therapy relating to family suicide and a succession of other grief.
The change in my hips is profound. i have been working on my stuck grief point this week so checked straight into that and i could feel it open and flow.

I'm not consciously grieving, but I had a rough day and wanted something peaceful to help release the stress of the day. This was a wonderful choice. I loved that Nicky had clear variations, and encouraged me to move at my own pace to define the practice to fit my needs. I cannot wait to use this guided practice again :)

Prior to starting this video, I thought, this is not what I need...During the video my eyes became tearful 3 times. I guess there were some grief ridden restrictions. Thank you so much for this gentle but emotionally gratifying yoga practice. I'm use to doing power yoga but this was a great change.
