This relaxing and restorative yoga class with Rachel takes you through a gentle strengthening and hip opening practice that you can do (mostly) on your back. It's the perfect class for students who would prefer not to put weight on their hands. Note: You will need a wall and strap for this practice.

Very nice practice. Doing yoga every day, I really appreciate a class that is a bit different from the norm, and the core work at the start was a bonus. Thank you, Rachel!

I love this so much, thank you!!
I'm not able to spend a long time on my hands due to wrist issues (a massage therapist for over 20 years) and my knees just plain ol don't like being on'em for any length of time either. This is a perfect class, for me.

this is a great practice for me at the moment because I am recovering from shoulder surgery and not totally cleared for yoga yet. Thank you!

Great!
We have a couple more coming out soon that are designed specifically to keep the hand weight bearing out of the practice - stay tuned!

This is lovely. Thank you Rachel. I do have a question. I have a replacement right knee. And when I do the stretch of the foot to the back and grab for that good stretch in the front of the thigh, I have to use my belt to hold my foot. I can't really reach it with my hand. It has gotten much easier to do since I had my surgery in 2018. and being able to do that stretch really benefits my entire leg because of getting that good flexibility in the front of my thigh. should I be working on getting into a position where I can bring that foot back with my hand? Or should I just not even worry about working towards that and just do what I can do? I can be a little judgy about that leg because I want it to be I guess the word is normal. Perhaps I should just be happy because I could barely walk with my natural knee and now I can go up and down steps.
