In this beginner class, Helen guides you to explore the hips and spine, encouraging you to release resistance in your body. You’ll be invited to imagine what it feels like to fully sink into each shape and embrace ease in movement.
Key Pose(s) include:
- Wide Childs
- Sphynx
- Seal

“If you think, ‘Darn it - that pose looks nicer’ - come on over, friends, and hang out here”😹 SO welcoming and inclusive, and insightful: surrender your ego and meet your body where it is today. First time with Helen-won’t be the last. 🙏
Another gorgeous class from Helen.
This was exactly what I needed today. Reminding myself to incorporate Yin into my flow practice. Thank you!
This class did not work for me. It should be called variations on a nap. I appreciate that Helen is trying to offer accommodations, but so many were offered that I lost track of what the pose was supposed to do for me. And she talked too much and used expletives like "damn." I don't want that kind of talk in my yoga. I felt like I had to surrender to her chatter just to make it through. I am sure this class works for many, but it did not work for me. I won't be re-visiting this one.
