If you're wondering if you're doing chaturanga, plank, warrior one or the vinyasa flow correctly, this power yoga flow class for beginners is a great place to start. Fiji takes the time to break down each pose, focusing on alignment and how the pose should feel to you. Fiji occasionally holds poses for longer than she normally does, so remember to take breaks if you need to.

I've done this class several times without the video freezing. This last time it kept freezing despite my letting the video run in pause for several minutes and despite changing servers. My question is this: If I purchase the vide and download it, am I guaranteed a smooth run every time I play it?

Sorry to hear that. The streaming depends on so many things it's difficult to diagnose the issue. Yes, if you download the video it will go directly to your computer's hard drive and you will own it. You will be able to play the video anytime you want without needing an internet connection.

I just did this class for the first time and loved it! During the floor series I was really struggling with lifting my legs for core strength because my lower back was in a lot of pain. It stayed on the floor but I couldn't extend my legs forward without it hurting. Any advice on how I can prevent this? I want to do that pose!

Have dabbled with yoga in the past but never power yoga. Always took the gentle relaxing classes. Im short on strength and recovering from injuries and age is a factor. The detailed instructions however are key here for me. I'll keep at it.

A wonderful reminder of the basics to avoid injuries and progress at our own pace while we inhabit our bodies with mindfulness.
