@alevin great question! I'm not affiliated with any brands, but I'd definitely recommend finding one that feels stretchy and flexible when you hold it and stretch it (seems obvious yes, but some are a bit brittle and will actually snap or break while you're using them). Whether or not you have a latex allergy can be a concern; there are latex-free ones out there. You can find differently lengths depending on your height. There are even recycled rubber ones on the market now as well, so it's a bit of a custom search to find one that works well for you. Vague yes, but I hope that helps you answer a few of your own personal preferences as to what you are looking for. Most fitness equipment stores sell them, online, and pilates equipment stores (word of warning on way overpriced branded products there...).
