For this first time in many, many yoga classes I've felt safe in the warrior poses. David's instructions are so clear and well-paced that I can get all the parts working together. Thank you David.

Another nice class from David, thank you. This is labelled as Beginner II which it is, but I think even people with experience will learn something new here. I did.

Wonderful class. Seems like a rather simple class of mastering warrior poses, but it is actually very demanding to arrange all your muscles and joints in the right fashion. Thank you David so much!

Great, love it. I'm starting to feel the correct positioning of my body. I notice that when I tilt my pelvis in and pull bell in, that my breath only goes to my chest and not all the way down to diaphragm. I am hoping this awareness is the first step in being able to correct my breath.

all I can say is wow. I started yoga in . June/July of 2018. Really liked it so wanted to give yoga a try for a year to see what a diff low impact exercise would have on my physical apperance. I always did in tense cardio to stay fit.

This practice helped me correct my warrior 1 an d 2 stance an d I did not know I was not getting the most from the positions till today.

I totally feel the difference in poses when done correctly!

This class helps students go beyond alignment, the pace contributes to imprinting the sense of stability and grounding in the body. Excellent class!

"Whether you know it or not, you are imprinting the sensation of stability in your body... this becomes grounded and ingrained, a part of who you are." YES! The pace of this class allows us, the student, to focus completely in sensing and feeling one's body alignment. Great class!

I'm a beginner, and this routine was just about perfect in length and intensity. I felt challenged but I wasn't stressed near the end. Thanks!

I like that every instructor has a different approach to poses, so it continually gives me new ways to explore the feelings and me edge in a pose. Great follow up to the first day's sitting class. Thanks!

Thanks David for the great class!
Since I stopped doing yoga for a while now, this class was a great reminder of how to hold the poses properly.
I already feel the difference in my body as well as my mood. I feel happier and more energized.
I am looking forward to the class tomorrow.

Even as an intermediate-level yogi, I always go back to beginner practices at the start of the New Year. The reminders of proper alignment, core activation, and breathing techniques are invaluable!

Essential to understand that having a good posture and good stability are the keys to having less problems with our bodies, in yoga and other life activities. Thank you.

I can’t wait to see how much much more flexibility I would have the day after. After lesson 1, (I’m about a week behind). I woke up with no pain on my hips for the first in a very long time. Then I went to Tai Chi class and noticed how my feet were pointing forward and it it was easier to move around. Thanks, David.

I have to question the constant "tilt your pelvis back" that you say up until warrior 2. Surely it should be tilt your pelvis forward?

Just to make sure we're on the same page, if you imagine that your pelvis is a bowl full of water, tilting the pelvis back means that you are trying to spill the water on your heels. Tilting the pelvis forward would be spilling the water on your toes.
Unless your pelvis is already tilted to far back, the tendency for most people is to inadvertently tilt it forward when doing backbends or stretching the groin or hip flexors. So I'm trying to bring awareness to that by encouraging students to tilt it the other way. You need to be careful that you're not over tilting, though. It's a fine balance.

I am loving your new classes with all the attention to alignment. I had to leave my local studio because I was getting injured due to lack of attention to alignment within poses. I now enjoy your site exclusively along with a Pilates practice. I feel wonderful. This class kept me focussed and feeling safe. Thank you David.

As I have not practiced yoga consistently in the last year and a half, these beginner videos are just what I need. I had no idea how weak my body had become and the standing video helped me identify areas that I need to focus on.

The care you take David to help us do the postures correctly is great. Your instructions are clear and precise. I loved the warrior poses and mountain pose today. They never felt so good, now I'm doing them properly. I've switched to this challenge from the senior challenge. Now I feel like I'm doing something.
