Loving-kindness meditation, also known as “metta” meditation, is a great way to cultivate kindness for ourselves, our loved ones, community and the world at large. In this meditation practice, Nyk guides you through sending goodwill, kindness and warmth by silently repeating a series of mantras. Note: We recommend using a bolster, block, chair or blanket to sit on.

Lovely meditation. I will return to this one.
What is the significance of repeating the mantras 3 times?
I would also appreciate the words of the chant in the description so that I can say it along with you.
(I also thought maybe my wifi was frozen during the pause before the chant.)

Thank you. It was good to have the comment about the pause before the chant from yoga deb otherwise I would have been thrown off too. It would have been helpful perhaps to have the chanting instruction just before the chant and also some instruction just before the pause telling you what to do e.g. mindful breathing. It was a bit different from the Peter Keller Metta meditation (which I have followed quite a few times) in the meditations section, a bit quicker so i was thrown a bit but second time around I will be prepared. It would be useful to have the chant words in the instruction preamble.

Great meditation. Just a note for others before meditating, at the end Nyk talks about ending the meditation with a chant, there is then a long pause before the chant begins. I only mention this because I didn’t expect the long pause and I thought my wifi had frozen. It threw me off a bit, perhaps this will help someone else to stay in the moment. All in all it’s a great meditation and Nyk’s voice is very soothing in its guidance. Thank you
