Thank you for this class, Kim - really got the juices flowing on this cold British winter morning! I loved how your dog was snoozing peacefully while we were working so hard! It made me smile.

This class was such a great workout! Very challenging at times, but also balanced. There were a couple of poses that I had difficulty with, so I'll be doing this practice a few more times to get it right! Thanks Kim.

I know I've done this once before and it was awesome! Today it kept freezing around the 22 min mark. Don't think it was a problem from my end! Bummer!

Hi there.

Thanks for the comment. You can most often resolve that problem by either pausing the video early on, so it can load, or by switching browsers. In general, if you are on a PC, try using Chrome as your browser, and if you're on a Mac, use Firefox or Safari.

I hope that helps.

As a past client of Kim's Haultain who moved from Victoria to AB over a year ago, this was exactly what I have been missing! Amazing workout that left me feeling the way I did when I first took a Kim class - empowered, happy and exhausted! Loved this video! And happy to have a piece of cherry blossom lined street nirvana on this cold winter day.

My MS physio wanted me to try pilates as well as yoga, but I found the classes I tried, well, boring, so didn't go back. This on the other hand, was really challenging, and great fun too, I was sweaty and giggling to myself by the end. You are a real ray of light, such a lovely, happy delivery!
Now if I can just get my pup to follow your dog's example instead of bouncing on my head.........

The instruction is calming and positive. There's no chance toworry about the pose getting harder because everything is just so calm. It teaches me how to always have the same attitude even outside the mat. :)

I really do not care for Pilates but this fusion class made it very palatable. More Yoga than Pilates. Very tough and core focused. Kim has a great personality. Looking forward to doing #3.

I have been doing this session over and over again for months! Kim is such a fantastic teacher! Her flow is so smooth and gentle, but has such an intense kick to it as well! She will definitely kick your booty into shape! I highly recommend this class to all students looking for a fun challenge with a teacher that is so kind and encouraging! Move to SF Kim so I can take your classes in person! haha Thanks so much!

Kim goes straight for the core, starting with a few warming poses and then progressing through a fluid flow to some gut busting exercises. Many of her variations on side plank and forearm plank were new to me, but she explained the position well and was easy to follow. This is a fantastic routine for anyone looking to build core strength, stretch their quads and feel the benefits of a challenging yoga without needing much experience in advanced postures. Thanks Kim!!

I followed Kim's example and my dog followed the example of Kim's dog, and we all had a lovely time. This practice is challenging but doable - a nice goal to work towards. As always, Kim's infectious smile and mannerisms really help ease the pain. Thank you for a great practice.

This class was one of many that I've tried the past couple of days that I was actually able to complete. Kim's smile is contagious. She doesn't have to tell you to smile, you just look at her and you want to smile. Her guidance and voice is so calming.

Love this class!

This is the first class I've done on this site. I was a little skeptical of an online yoga class, but this was great. I've done pilates and yoga in classes on and off for several years. This gave me the same great workout and motivation as an in-person class. Kim was a great instructor and I will be going through the rest of her videos for sure! The only thing I wished there were more of were modifications suggested for some of the poses, but that's really only nit-picking--the class was great!

If I'm ever in your area of BC, I'll be sure to come in for a studio class. Thanks, Kim!

this is the second video i have done on this site and i purposely searched for kim. she is so sweet and has such a great, gentle energy. this class is no joke!!! my shoulders and arms were burning about 5minutes into it. i didnt have any issues with my wrists as some of the other reviewers said; however, i did have to stop about half way thru for a water break because i was sweating.

look forward to more great videos!!

This is my second video and I think that Kim is just the most wonderful teacher. She is encouraging while gently reminding you to tuck in your ribs! ;) She also gives such a thorough explanation of everything in the sweetest tone. She's great! :) This workout was a little hard on the wrists and I'm not very good at the roll up core work, but I'm going to keep doing my best!

By the time she gets to teaser at T = 41:20, I am ready to check out ... from exhaustion. But I remain listening to the audio. She is THAT engaging ...

I think I have to give this one more attention.

I know that doing this video even with what I CAN do with it, over-prepares me for mat class ...

I am two-thirds through the class and stopped because my wrists hurt. Tough on shoulders too. This class is best for people who have a lot of upper body strength or regularly do vinyasa flow. I am used to more traditional pilates on the mat.

After doing Kim's workout two to three times a week for the past four months, I cannot believe the difference in my core strength. I alternate my yoga routines every morning but make sure to include this workout at least twice a week. I highly recommend including this routine in your workouts. Great job Kim!!!

Recognized the reversed breathing pattern of Stott-style pilates right away. Kicked my butt very much ... maybe I'll be able to do the whole routine some day. I had to supply a meditative soundtrack to it, too. Candles next.
