This is part 2 in Crista's series on Eka Pada Koundinyasana A and B. In this class you will do Koundinyasana Fun I over again, then progress onto stage two, which will help you move from eka pada koundinyasana II to eka pada koundinyasana I. The intelligent sequence that Crista takes you through not only prepares your body and mind for the more difficult parts, but she also provides insight and encouragement (along with a few giggles) along the way. You can find both classes together in Peak Pose: Pose Dedicated to the Sage Koundinya I, which is on our Peak Pose Challenges page.

Well, I'm genuinely running out of superlatives to describe your classes! I love your creativity and how you interweave 'non-traditional' yoga movements into your classes to ensure the body is fulled prepared, lengthened and strengthened for some pretty challenging poses. How you pulled off that Eka Pada K leg swap is beyond me but it was fun to try! Do you ever teach workshops in Europe? I would love to practise in person with you one day. For now, thank you for your sunny smile and your sweet spirit.

I'd been meaning to do this class for a while and finally got round to it as part of the 14 Day Advanced Challenge - wonderful stuff! I actually did this one the day after the first part (veering slightly from the course schedule) as I had time for a full length class and really wanted to try this! I still can't do the peak pose (arm balances seem to be my nemesis!) but loved the whole class, and as usual it was full of really sweet hip openers. Fantastic stuff, I'll be coming back to this one!

WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! I am so Excited!! I did this with all of the moves... Some are things I had never tried before. The tranisitions are soo smooth you are doing hard things before you realize it. This video is perfect

The first half of the video is a repeat of Koundinyasana Fun I - just a heads-up! Either way, enjoyable and challenging class. Maybe someday I'll be able to do fire log like Crista. :)

By the way, you're the only instructor who can pull off that "turn the corners of your mouth upwards" line. Your brightness and spirit are so genuine!
