Intro to Flow

Intermediate I
Break down of the elements of vinyasa flow yoga, including how to do ujayi breath and move through sun salutations safely. This is meant as a starting point for people new to this style of yoga.

I love how Crista takes the time to fully explain how each body part should be positioned so you can reap the benefits of every single pose, and all the alternatives she gives in each pose are perfection. I learn something new every time I take a class by Crista.

Crista managed to do two unusual things in this class.
She didn't do the "hardest"/coolest move, but instead choose a easier/simpler move
It wasn't Right then Left side. Instead she switched it up with some Left then Right.

This was one of the best classes I have seen. Good and clear explanation of every move/idea

I've been practicing yoga for a few years now, but never had this kind of clear instruction about the ujayi breath. I look forward to incorporating it into all my vinyasa practices going forward. My body at the end of this practice was weighted with relaxation, melting heavily and restfully into shavasana. Loved this gentle and uplifting class.

Have been doing yoga on and off yet somewhat consistently for 4 years. After stopping for the past couple months due to injury ( Looking back I think many injuries have come from not starting in the right place and trying to be beyond beginner when I'm not there yet) this class is such a great place to start! I definitely get a little sweat going and its just one of those classes that hits all the sweet spots. Crista explains everything so well and keeps you in alignment while also giving you modifications that work well too. THANKS :)
