This class targets the hips flexors, a common problem area for many, including runners, athletes, people with desk jobs and those with hyperlordosis. David guides you through a class that builds gradually toward a final series of deep openers for the quads and psoas muscles, starting and finishing with a guided relaxation.

This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 15 of the Daily Dose 30-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

Another excellent class, David. I suffer from stiffness in my hips as a result of running and your classes have enabled me to keep my hips supple and keep running. Loved the relaxation ‘book ends’ in this class and the pace. Perfect. Thank you.

Thank you, David, this is lovely...especially for those of us who are now telecommuting and consequently sitting more than we would like. It's a treat to have an intermediate-level class. Your hip openers are my favorites!

I loved this class. I had never done the one leg bent, one leg forward stretch before. I am new to DYWM and really appreciated seeing the ocean behind and hearing the waves. I also like David's calm voice and how clearly he describes the movements. In this one he instructs "live" as he goes through the poses which I liked.
