This is a lovely true beginners class. A gentle pace and clear instructions about posture and how to achieve it were so helpful. Frequent reminders to return focus to breathing helped. For several months I've just been doing a mix of internet beginners classes with a group of people from work. I'm ready now to get some good solid instruction and to make a focused effort on developing correct alignment and technique. Some time spent with this class will be a step in the right direction.

Great class that is actually beginner level - simple and slow. A good class for those getting back into exercise or just learning the foundations of yoga, or keen for something easy to access

I had a particularly stressful day, and needed something in the late evening that was calming but wasn't quite bedtime yoga. This practice (and the music that went along with it) was exactly what I needed.

I've had a couple of weeks away from practice, so this eased me back in very gently. The pace of the class was pitched right to really focus on getting into the correct position, without rushing in and out of poses trying to keep up. It also allowed me to hone in on those areas of my body that were pretty creaky and knotty so I now feel very loosened up and ready for the day. Thank you Melissa for another masterclass.
