Hanuman Fun
Hanuman pose is the forward-back splits. To achieve this advanced pose, Crista has designed an ingenious - and fun - flow that stretches the body in just the right way and at just the right pace to lead up to the depth of hanuman. It's a peak pose the deserves respect, and Crista honors it by addressing the muscles involved - the gluts, hamstrings, hip flexors and lower back - before moving into it for the first time. Get ready! You may just do the splits for the very first time!

This was awsome, very fun as the title says, even found myself laughing at my failure towards the end. Looking forward to getting better with this sequence !
Also, doing this post run, I found it to be a good leg stretch.

Excellent sequence! Hanumanasana has always been difficult for me, so I probably wouldn't have chosen this class on my own (I did it as part of the Empower challenge). Although I still have to prop up my hips in full Hanuman, this class sneakily led me into feeling my most stable in hand-to-big-toe pose!
This was amazing! I have problems with my hip abductors and the movements in this class felt so good. I think this will help me improve my abductor strength and mobility. Thank you so much, Crista! Your classes are always so challenging and creative.
Absolutely lovely class. Thanks Crista. I was slightly distracted by your repetition of the word 'please'. I've never heard this from a yoga teacher before and it seemed a little strange and unnecessary.... Great class regardless!
