I had recently taken a hiatus from the yoga life and started back up with this video! I was scared I wasn't going to feel the same doing online yoga that I would being in a studio, but it was even better! I loved this flow and felt the perfect challenge for not doing yoga for a few months!
this is my first class with Melissa and it is beautiful and gentle but also challenging enough to rise a little my heart rate. I have rheumatoid arthritis and this class gently invigorated me and I felt no pain. I am from Australia and Melissa has a new fan ! Namaste

This yoga class challenged my body and cleansed my mind. It had such good flow it was over before I knew it, and I was so relaxed at the end I fell asleep during savasana. I bookmarked this class and will definitely be doing again!
That's why online yoga is awesome, you can just crawl off to bed if you fall asleep!

I love this class. I have enjoyed all of Melissa's classes. I would love to see her participate in one of the retreats. I've always wanted to sign up for one but it seems like they are for a more advanced level. Melissa would be awesome to have at a beginner retreat! A combo of Melissa and David would be even better :)
My retreats are for everybody! There is a lot of yoga (two classes a day) but myself and my co-teacher are pretty gentle overall. This class video would be an example of a more challenging class and then the other daily one would generally be a yin, gentle hatha or restorative. The only thing you need to be advanced at on my Salt Spring Island retreats is the ability to relax! The biggest challenge for me was the first few minutes of sitting idle and it was the most mentally rewarding too. Thank you for the extended savasana at the end.
Savasana is my favorite! Over the past few years I've been lengthening it from a few minutes to 5 - 10 minutes and it's so valuable. Glad you enjoyed it!
Melissa's pacing and the beautiful nature sounds of this class complemented the sequence's tension-releasing benefits perfectly. I felt the bliss point arrive at Thread-the-Needle pose. This class and Melissa are blessings, indeed. Thank you! I will now subscribe for a year. Namaste.
I love Melissa's classes. I am at a beginner level but starting to do many of the poses with ease. I told myself i need to find a few more classes that have different and slightly more diffuclt poses. Then I found this class. I loved it! I started off with greater ease but noticed in the more difficult poses, I was challengened. If there are any more beginner level classes that add some greater difficulties, I'd be appreciative of being directed toward them, especially Melissa's class. Thank you for this great website and all you do to provide us with these great classes! The classes are giving me a difficult perspective in life, especially as I come out of some challenging life situations.

Peaceful meditative slow flow, but challenging for strength and balance. Great Achilles and calf stretches for runners. This was so well directed I rarely needed to look, allowing me to pay perfect attention to my body.
The natural sounds of birds and breath was perfect. Great in all respects. Thank you Melissa.
