This hatha yoga class is all about taking the time for some gentle stretches without transitioning up and down. Staying low to the ground, this class is created especially for students working in bigger bodies and features a series of wonderfully satisfying poses, including a modified reclined twist and Sufi grinds.

OMGosh Goodness, I have been waiting for you almost 5 years now. It's been a journey to work my body through yoga and you have given me yoga wings. This is not my first attempt at Yoga but this is definitely the most comfortable I have felt doing yoga. Thank you @doyogawithme It was time to have added a plus size version of yoga. Can I just say you have inspired me and now look forward to calling you my lunch break at work. :) Thank you for what you do.

No one has ever told me I have given them yoga wings before and this has put a huge smile on my face!! I'm so happy that this practice feels comfortable in your body and remember you can color outside the lines and continue to modify in any way that you need to. Once we get on board with the idea that our practice is there to meet us instead of us trying to shove our way in to it, the doors blow open and it's a whole new experience. Helen, I love your classes! This was especially welcome after doing a challenging class yesterday and being a bit sore. Great way to be gentle. I want to thank you for bringing a plus size perspective to the do yoga with me site. It’s great as a plus size woman to see instructors I can relate to. Also just you saying “lift your belly”. Why didn’t I ever think to do that! Lol that modification alone has been a huge help. Thanks so much. Namaste!
