In this class, Rachel guides you through a fluid flow that integrates many of the fundamentals of yoga -- breathwork, core engagement, grounding, shoulder stability, alignment -- and leads you seamlessly towards the peak pose: dancer. This practice can be done as a stand-alone or as the conclusion to Rachel's 7-Day Fundamentals of Practice Yoga Challenge.

I've really enjoyed these as a guide back into regular yoga. Rachel's instruction and description of poses is excellent and has helped rekindle my yoga spirit, (which is much needed at this present moment in time). The way the classes build to the final flow is fab. Thanks Rachel :)

I started yoga a few years ago when I retired. In coming across this series I thought it might be good to step back and review the foundations again. This turned out to be way better than I expected. Rachel's attention to every detail of the pose helps solidify for me how to get the most out of this practice. And then session seven was just a joy to do. Thanks!

This was a wonderful way to start the new year. As an intermediate student, I found this helpful to remind me of the proper alignment of basic poses and how to balance my weight using the four corners of my hands and feet. Which practices do you recommend as a follow up to this series? Thanks!

Wonderful balancing, strengthening and calming effect.

No matter how far you are in your yoga practice it is always a good idea to slow down and return to the fundamental poses. I just completed all 7 days! It was great way to begin my December when everything else seems crazy. I was also much more sore than I anticipated, which I think shows the strength of the mind- body connection Rachel is able to teach. Great series for all!

This last class of the 7-day Fundamentals of Practice really brings everything together in a wonderful flow! I am transitioning to intermediate yoga, and this class taught me some new poses that I was a little intimidated to try, including crow pose, but after taking the entire challenge and with Rachel's clear instruction, I felt so much more confident about doing the pose and the faster flow classes in general. Really awesome!
