This practice helps you prepare your body for safe and opening backbends. Rachel reviews the key actions you need to protect your lumbar spine and safely free the front body. This class can either be done as a stand-alone or as part of Rachel's Fundamentals of Practice 7-Day Yoga Challenge.

1 week is the perfect time - yay, Day 6! - the time of each class between 20 and 40 min is great, and it's a good to go back to basics even if you don't consider yourself a beginner. Loving how it takes me to Beginner's Mind & Beginner's Body.
Rachel is always thorough and she guides you through this practice - as a standalone or as part of the challenge. This is a nice class to "reaffirm" what you know or for beginners, to learn the proper way to form a foundation for backbends. It is short however detailed and won't disappoint.
