I started doing yoga 5 months ago with DYWM, consistently 5-6 days per week. This Fundamentals of Practice series by Rachel is excellent for beginners like me to learn proper form and technique.
Yoga has been part of my life for sometime . Since I don’t feel I ever learned the basics, I decided to try these Fundamentals classes and have learned so much already. In order to review the previous day’s class, some days I will do two classes in one day which gives me a longer practice. For example, today I did Day 3 and then Day 4. Because of my schedule, some days I can’t do even one Fundamentals class so this 7-Day Challenge is going to take a bit longer. This review method helps me when I’ve missed a few days. Eventually, I will finish the entire Challenge. On busy days, I try to do one of the shorter under 15 minute DYWM classes.
An interesting practice to have fun trying crow and side plank (if you are not familiar with these) or want to know another way to get into these poses. Rachel, as always, is thorough with her guidance, and she makes it fun.
