Wow! This was amazing. So very well explained. I realize how I've been "muscling" into my twists and losing some spine alignment. Thanks for a really great class Rachel.

Yay! Sonia, I know this reply is so late, but just had to respond. What a great insight - love that this supported your practice in this way :)

I liked how this class built on the foundation of the previous class, with the last class focusing on rotating the hips and this class focusing on rotating the upper body. I have an inexpensive yoga mat for backup or outdoor use so I used a quilting ruler to measure and mark a centre line down one side of the mat with permanent marker.

I am loving these fundamentals classes as a way to come back into a dedicated yoga practice after years of only practicing sporadically. Rachel’s instruction always brings new awareness to every pose and I find I can move into deeper expressions of the poses with her guidance! Thank you.

A loved having the strap to remind me to center my body / spine for twisting. A great practice for a beginner to learn how to do twists properly and also wonderful for a seasoned yogi to do as a reminder of where the body and spine should be aligned. And, Rachel is wonderful with her guidance, as always!
