This hatha flow yoga class with Melissa has a nice, slow and steady pace. She leads you through a safe and thorough practice, with lots of gentle stretching for the whole body. It's a great class for your back and spine, it's relaxing and at times challenging. You'll feel refreshed and grounded at the end of the hour. Expect a few minutes of silence at the start of the practice and a long savasana at the end.

I love Melissa's classes, and I really wanted to do this one, but . . . there used to be a thing on the bottom of the picture which allowed you to change the speed , but lately it seems to have disappeared. I've noticed it in a few new classes. Unfortunately I have a slow internet connection and the videos won't play smoothly - without constant stuttering and buffering - at anything higher than 360. With the option to change I could use them, but now I can't. Could this little feature be put back please?
I absolutely love this class but have 2 minor suggestions to make it better. One is that the time at the beginning of the class spent laying on your back settling into your breath is longer than I am used to. This is not a bad thing but giving students an idea of how much time we will be there for might be nice because I sat up to check that my computer wasn't frozen. Also, during this intro time there is some talking that could be edited out. But like all of Melissa's classes this is a wonderful and calming practice! Thanks for all the videos that you provide!
I loved this class! I usually do more movement based yoga classes but I truly appreciated the benefits of this class that was slower paced, longer in each pose.
The verbal instructions were not as clear as I have come to expect from classes at doyogawithme.com, though. I had to look up more than usual. I’m sure it will be fine as I repeat the class, however.
Thank you for a beautiful practice!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback about the verbal instructions. I'm always trying to leave more silence when I teach (in person and online) and it's tricky to find the balance between too much and too little. I may have missed the mark this time :) If you do the class again can you let me know what you think the second time around? Also there are some new poses in there (that poas release on the block on your back for one) and I wonder if that added to the lack of clarity. Anyhoo, I'd love to know what you think on round 2. Thanks!
What a wonderful class! I found this right when I needed it, and now I feel relaxed and in tune with my body. Thank you!
