After doing a Vinyasa flow class, I still felt unsettled and resentful so searched for a shorter class to try to add on to my morning wake-up and this was was amazing. Pushing the anger out physically helped clear me out mentally and I felt calmer and more focused after this flow. Thank you, Guy!
Hmmmm.....I dunno. "Yoga for Seniors"? This was a lot of very quick up and downs. I have a wonky knee right now and achy wrists. This sequence was a real challenge, and not necessarily in the best way :(
Just didn't do it for me, though I kinda made it through with lots of adaptation. I suppose for people with good wrists and good knees and lots of flexibility, this would be an effective practise. Perhaps I'll try it again in a few months when I'm healed. I'm doing the 14 day Beginner challenge and this was part of the 'package'; I've appreciated all the previous sessions. Guess it's to be expected that they don't all suit me.
I think you have to feel the fullness of your anger or sadness or resentment before you can truly release it. The first time I did this I definitely felt my anger stir up inside, but I also felt a relief to be able to release some of it, to open myself up to love and forgiveness. I'm grateful for this short, simple forgiveness movement. Thank you, Guy. I think I'll return again and again.
for now it accelerated my anger and resentment, i wonder maybe few days later its gonna work. very curious about the other comments
