Flying Pigeon Pose: Preparation
This is the first in a series of three classes where Tracey takes you to the wonderful arm balance flying pigeon pose (eka pada galavasana). We call this class 'Preparation', since it warms your body and prepares it for the next classes in the series, Flying Pigeon Pose: Going Deeper and Flying Pigeon Pose: The Final Step, which will lead you into the full pose. But this class is not just about getting to step 2! It is a vigorous power yoga flow that you will thoroughly enjoy, lightened with Tracey's wonderful personality and charm.

Careful with your knees.
Thank you. Wonderful as alway. Returning to this older practice after knee operations and investigation into yoga and knee injuries. Deep bends in the knees with movement destroys the knees over time (been practicing g for 30 years and teaching for 15) The flow into cow pose with goddess arms is not good for knees. Be careful and avoid that move. It could be it feels fine now, but over time, it grinds away the meniscus. I love you Tracey. You're fantastic.
I think that is the best class that I've done with Tracey. Good flow, not too difficult but certainly challenging.
Even managed to surprise myself and held crow pose for a good 5+ seconds.
Loved it!
Tracy is the best! And this class is just perfect: challenging and relaxing at the same time! Thanks so much!
This is such a wonderful and complete practice. Great mind-body emphasis. The sequence in and out of fire log is simply brilliant. I feel powerful and renewed. Thank you for all that you do, Tracy! Much love.
