Exploring Your Patterns
This practice is two practices in one. The first round is holding each pose for one breath as we move through the sequence and the second round is holding the same poses but for ten breaths each time. We move through the sun salutations slowly, counting the full five breaths for each movement. The challenge in this class is not the poses but rather noticing the mind and our resistance to doing things differently.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 9 of Cultivate Your Inner Teacher 14-Day Intermediate Yoga Challenge.

This class helps so much with noticing the mind body connection (and disconnection). I really appreciate the guidance and the differentiated sensations, both physically and mentally. I would suggest that the class be Int II, though, as the beginning part is not so easy in speed and also knowledge/familiarity with all the poses and sanskrit and flexibility! Thanks to Jonni Lyn for this and also the shorter transitions class.
When I finished this class, I said "Wow"! I feel you captured the essence of yoga in this class. I loved the breathwork at the beginning. Also loved shavasana in the middle and the longer one at the end. And time for meditation. I really had time to ponder my patterns and resistance which gave me insights into life off my mat. This class reminded me that yoga practice is a true discipline. Thank you for this offering!
I was intrigued by the concept of two identical practices but took ages to get going and when it did I found it really hard to follow that first half of the practice, too fast and unclear instructions meant I was always behind and not really managing to follow. Also without a proper warm-up I felt I was trying poses that my body wasn't ready for.
Interesting looking practice but I found it very difficult to follow what you were saying, even with my volume turned all the way up. The combination of mumbly and fast speech was too frustrating for me! Appreciate the effort anyway :)
