This Hatha/Vinyasa yoga class is a perfect way to prepare the body for deep relaxation and a deep, restful sleep. It begins with 6 minutes of a vinyasa flow, then moves into a sequence of beautifully deep floor poses... twists, bends and deep stretches, encouraging body awareness.

I've been doing yoga on DYWM for over a decade and I can't believe I've never tried this class. For me, this was the best shoulder stretches in a class, the pace was forgiving, allowing time to fully getting into the stretch. I've experienced some deep stretching in the hips type of classes, but never this thorough for the shoulders. Thank you. I will return to this again.

I enjoy this class a lot, but the sequences of poses where one leg is tucked under/behind itself was pretty rough on my knees and left me with some lingering aches the next day. Any suggestions for modifications that are a little gentler on the knees?

I sometimes get the same thing! I just bend only as much as I can to not push it.

Definitely intermediate/advanced but with the right modifications, I found this very effective, satisfying, and relaxing. Thank you!
