Elevate Day 9
This class can be done as a stand-alone class or as day 9 in Fiji's 14-day yoga challenge, Elevate. In this class, Fiji guides you through a series of arm balances including flying pigeon, firefly, and crane, helping you learn how to move into each pose with lightness and ease through step-by-step progressions.

This class was great. I admit that I took a good three day gap between day 8 and day 9 because I was expecting this class to be more challenging than it was and my energy levels didn't feel up to it, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn today that this class is actually pretty slow and gentle. Good practice for arm balances, and I felt very strong in all three given the extra instruction and care moving into the poses. Thanks, Fiji!
This class was so helpful in learning the different sensations between the various arm balances. I feel fine with crow and firefly but it is the first time that I got a taste of the teeter towards crane, and the pivot forwards in crow to eventually push my legs back. Thank you for a slower timing and more precise instructions!
