I watch the classes through my laptop, which can be a challenge to follow the movements from standing to seating. David did an excellent job explaining the poses, so I didn't have to interrupt the flow to adjust where my computer was. It was easy for me to follow what he was saying. It was very good for a beginner learning the poses. I feel like my muscles are relaxed and opening up.
The only thing that was difficult for me was the end in Savasana. I didn't have enough time to concentrate/meditate on a spot between the talk through. I don't think I had a tight spot, but I was trying to focus on one of the many sensations I was feeling. I kept trying to focus on a spot, but I was distracted by the coaching. That could just be me though as my mind does like to wander sometimes. Perhaps on future videos, allow a slightly longer pause initially to allow the mind to sink into awareness, then coach through to dig deeper into that awareness.

Overall, it was excellently put together! Thank you.

I just love this website and all of the videos. I especially love David's teaching style, slow, steady, easy to follow. This video was just what I needed today, I am what I would call an advanced beginner. I was not able to get on my mat for a couple of days due to work, and I was feeling kind of stiff, this video was perfect for easing me back into my practice. Please don't ever go away, you are an amazing resource for all people who enjoy practicing at home. Thank you and Namaste.

The idea is to keep the breath going, slow and deep, throughout your entire practice... unless you're doing a breathing technique where you hold the breath. This keeps the body highly oxygenated, the nervous system calm and the body relatively relaxed, even when you're doing difficult poses.

hi, I am new to yoga, as I understand breathing is essential in yoga but is breathing in and out strict in every pose and when can we hold the pose and thus do the deep breathing while at it...greetings from South Europe) ) )
