Loved this new practice! Great transitions. I didn't feel like I was working very hard until in the last warrior one with fingers extended, I realized I was shaking everywhere...felt so good. Laughed and enjoyed shaking out of my cocoon...very fun practice throughout. Thanks for the special energy and joy you always bring to your practices.
Crista,
Fabulous and FUN practice today! Loved the mudra and imagery, sequencing was flowing (and watery!), appreciated the hand balancing poses, pace was perfect and loved the peak pose. You are an inspirational teacher... I’ll be humming along today thinking about the spring crocus I uncovered on a walk a couple of days ago and planting the wildflower seeds on a hillside in anticipation of butterflies and bees.
Thoroughly enjoyed breaking out of my chrysalis. A wonderful practice, thank you.
Just so you know Crista, I always laugh at your jokes ^_^ and this practice was beautiful! Also, although I sometimes zone out during the teachings/stories/life advice that accompany yoga, this time the narrative of the struggle and the analogy with cocoons was topical for me, and I needed to hear it, and it gave me a big fat smile on the face. Loved the synchronized breaking-out-of-the-cocoon pre savasana. My partner was a bit concerned, though.
