This class is a quite an experience. It begins with the Ujayi Breath, then flows through a rigorous sun salutation, warming the body and focusing the mind. It then takes you to the floor, where you move through a series of deep stretches. Best of all, it finishes with a 20-minute Total Body Relaxation!

Love this class. Exactly what I was looking for for tight hips and lower back. Not sure why there were comments on David’s instructions- I thought they were very clear. Also you should always bring props (blocks, straps) to a class especially if you are new. Great class, very relaxing. Thank you David.

I just did this class as part of the beginner progressing to intermediate program. It has some lovely sequence. But if I may offer some constructive feedback, some of the poses were not accessible to me. It would be helpful if more gentle adaptations were proposed, particularly for those following in the context of the program. The stretches at around 35 mins felt to me particularly insecure and I had a hard time finding a comfortable adaptation. I thought I had been careful and respected my limits but I had pain in my knee joints for a couple of days after. I can definitely see someone with less awareness of their own body potentially injuring themselves. Others have made similar comments and it was mentioned this was an earlier video, but I would like to respectfully suggest that it be replaced .

There are some wonderful twists and binds in this class and I found it quite vigorous at the beginning with the standing poses. About halfway through, two geese and then a peacock come to check out what David is doing. He remains unphased and keeps going with his cues, it's a priceless moment. The outdoor setting added to my enjoyment of this class especially since I had to practice inside. Thank you for another great session.

Nothing against the music itself, but at times I thought it competed with David's instruction in terms of volume.

I love this class very much , by the end my body tingles with prana and delight! There are two technical issues that would improve my experience if they were fixed. The first is that at the 1:00:47 mark there is a noise signifying an audio glitch then the screen goes black and there is silence for a few seconds before the narration track returns. It remains this way until the 1:18:15 point in final savasana when everything is silent and the class never ends. The other issue is that the equipment listed is "none" but a strap is necessary, and helpful to have in the binds. Thank you for all that you do, David! Namaste.

Thanks for the feedback... much appreciated!

The black screen is intentional, since you are in savasana so we assume that you are not looking at the screen. This is one of our oldest videos and we used to play the video a bit longer at the end, hence the fact that it doesn't finish like we usually do. Thank you for the feedback on the strap - I've added that now.
