Basics and Beyond : Balance
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 2 - Balance in Melissa's weeklong series: Basics and Beyond 7-Day Yoga Challenge. In this gentle but strong class, Melissa teaches you how to balance on your feet and on all-fours using your breath, core and leg strength.

Overall for the site I find that even though I have been doing yoga for 20 years, I have to stick to beginner classes as I have health issues. The intermediate classes are out of my reach much as I would like to do them. I feel that the beginner and intermediate levels should be divided into 2 for proper beginners , like this one and beginner 2 for those who need less challenging classes but have been doing yoga for a while. A lot of the intermediate classes I would see as advanced or mostly for younger healthy people.
I am not good at balancing, so I appreciated the very beginner modifications. I know it is something that I can improve, so I will using this practice often! Thank you for teaching!
