Basics and Beyond : Breath and Basics
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 1 - Breath and Basics in Melissa's weeklong series: Basics and Beyond 7-Day Yoga Challenge. This is a gentle, full body practice that teaches you basic yoga positions and how to connect your breath to your core. It also introduces you to the different shapes that you will work into throughout this challenge.

Thanks for this Melissa! I have practised yoga for 25+ years but am recovering from a knee replacement. This is the perfect way to ease myself into my practise.
Thank you very much! I'm going to try the 7 day challenge. I very much like your gentle style and detailed instructions. I've been recently doing your bend and stretch video 5-6 times a week for all of May . I thought I'd try something different for a change. I do have a long standing stiff neck and shoulder (really right side of back coming and going-depending on what I'm doing) and very tight hips. I thought gentle yoga would be the best way to keep moving and hopefully these muscles will release.
